Hello! My name is Alesia New, founder of BMN Evolve.  My personal experience with abdominal pain and swelling required a physician-ordered drastic elimination of food and called into question my understanding of the relationship between nutrition and health. I’ve heard the saying “you are what you eat” but never took the time to  deeply explore exactly what that phrase meant. I began my self-study of nutrition through books, documentaries, and various seminars. I’ve also researched various nutrition programs covering fasting, detox, juicing, vegan and vegetarian lifestyles, raw food diets, etc.

The passing of my mother in 2013 was the push I needed to refocus my career and devote my time to learning all I could about nutrition.  Knowing that nutrition and movement could have prolonged my mother’s life gave me more incentive to continue my study of nutrition and health.

Begin Again

In 2014, I chose to leave my 20+ years of business experience behind and officially pursue my Master of Science in Human Nutrition.  I realized that I wanted to be the person who has the ability to inform, educate, and lead those who are confused by food labels, diet claims, and the overwhelming and sometimes dangerous content about health and wellness.  My mission is to help those who struggle with their nutrition choices and seek to live fully and in maximum health.  I realize that nutrition and movement can be the difference between surviving or thriving in the body and life you have.
